Facebook conversion tracking

In addition, POLIBOY also uses a tool called "Facebook Pixel" from Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"), to evaluate and support online marketing measures. This allows us to track user behaviour after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad. As a result, we are able to assess the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes.

The data collected in this way is anonymous, i.e. we are unable to see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, and we are required to notify you about this to the best of our knowledge. Facebook can link this data with your Facebook account and also use it for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook's privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy).

You can allow Facebook and its partners to show ads on and outside of Facebook. They may also store cookies on your computer for this purpose.

Facebook remarketing

Our website uses remarketing or the "Custom Audience" Facebook feature. This feature allows us to deliver relevant ads to visitors of the website, by showing them personalised ads they find interesting whenever they visit Facebook. Facebook uses so-called cookies to analyse website use as a basis for interest-based advertising.

To this end, Facebook stores a small file containing a sequence of numbers in the browsers of visitors to the website. This is used to collect information about the number of visitors to the website as well as anonymous data regarding the use of the website. We do not store personal data of website users. On subsequent visits to Facebook, visitors will see popups which will highly likely reflect the products and information previously visited.
